    .350 Legend

360 doesn't seem too different from the 350 Legend ballistics really. Platform would be different. 450 and 20 gauge sabot is pretty much the same bullet - just moving faster out of the 450. I find it interesting on legal from a size perspective. 357 or larger. 350 Legend is actually a bit...

$48k per acre - iowa farm sold to football players!

I took it as 5 million in investments as a group total not necessarily for the mentioned 104 acres only, but hard to say.

    Habitat thoughts?

We have a variety of oaks, a lot of hickories, and a fair amount of black cherry. Honestly I am not very good at identifying the different kinds of hickory. If I was I would probably hinge most of the pignut hickory and see what that would do for us. We do have a few stray red cedars and there...

    Habitat thoughts?

We have a few acres that butts up against some public land which doesn't have very easy access for hunting purposes. When we got the property we involved the district forester who made us a habitat improvement plan. Essentially he pointed out the invasive species to get after and even in what...

    Hearing protection???

In a blind using regular ear muffs is easy enough. But from a tree what do you like to use for hearing protection? I wear a stocking hat and don't think muffs would be very convenient. Thanks

    New Clothes?

Smart layering does a lot... Agree that a windstopper layer makes a big difference as well. Outer layer am using a Cabela's wooltimate jacket w/windstopper or their version of it anyway. I like bibs over pants. I have the Cabela's Berber fleece bibs with windstopper. Got them before bass pro...

    New site look / functionality

Maybe it is just me on mobile device but forum / thread navigation is horrible. No easy way to go from bottom of thread back to forum. Either need to scroll to top and click the link hiding in the pic or use the menu to start over? Maybe I am missing something... Also the colors scheme is awful...

    Clover plot struggles...

I think I want to get the grass killed as it just sucks up moisture. The sedge is more concerning as it seems to be spreading and the clover can't out compete it. I have knocked some of it back with sedge killer bit think I need to hit it really hard. Thoughts?
