    Need Some Ideas

Do a google search for brown sugar brine recipes for fried turkey. I believe brine is the key. A real simple one I use is; For a 14lb-thawed bird 6 quarts water (hot/warm water to melt salt and sugar) 1 pound kosher salt 1 pound dark brown sugar Brine for 6-16 hours Pat dry Cooking...

    Freezer

I have a two door Delfield 6000xl deep freeze if anyone is interested. The freezer is stainless steel 43.5 cubic feet. It is on wheels and can be rolled around. Was going in a restaurant but would be a great deep freeze, never used. There are a few surface scratches on the side but no dents...

    Opinions/Thoughts

Found him 400+/- yards from where I made the shot. I passed within a 100 yards twice while looking for him on two different days. He was in a bottom and had crossed a creek. Never had to track a gut shot deer before so it was a learning experience for me.

    Opinions/Thoughts

Went out shed hunting this afternoon and found the deer I shot back in November. Squirrels and mice worked him over pretty good. Called my CO and skull is on the boil. Bummer, but glad I was able to find him. http://i1197.photobucket.com/albums/aa432/ecuwil/photo2-1_zpsbc5224b2.jpg...

    Whats the best tires

I have heard a lot of good things about the Toyo Open Country A/T. They look good and have a 65K mile warranty. Not knowing what size you need, they are about $164/tire for my Silverado at Tread Depot before shipping costs. http://www.treaddepot.com/group/opat2.html

    Opinions/Thoughts

What a bad feeling. Looked for 4 hours with my dog this afternoon. Blood trail dried up so we started walking the area. May be a long shot but anyone in the east side of Iowa City/West Branch area able/willing to help look in the next couple of days?

    Opinions/Thoughts

Last night I made a shot on a buck I had seen on Monday night chasing 5 does very hard. He showed up yesterday afternoon at 2:45. I felt like I made a good shot just behind the shoulder. Saw the arrow stick about 3/4 of the way in with a lot of blood. Buck ran about 40 yards and stood for about...
