In my experience, it depends a lot of soil type and conditions. Wet, clay soil is a b*tch.

I have seen this buck live and he has a huge body. Picture may not do complete justice to the rack. Anyway, I will not give him a pass if I get shot. This is the best one I saw last week in Southern Iowa. The rut seemed to be just starting late last week.

Long time lurker. Just joined. I have seen this buck a couple of times. What do you think?
