I had on Absorbine Jr and Bug Soother last night. They were so thick they couldn’t avoid flying up my nose and under my glasses. Ended up with a few good welts from bites. They were as bad as I ever remember.

This is what I have. H and H brand. It is well built and pulls excellent. Lightweight trailers I have pulled bounce around and rattle. This one handles interstate speeds with no issues.

I was able to remove it. The jam nut tightens up against the brake. I used a long rod through the slots in the brake and a 7/8 wrench on the jam nut. Hold the brake steady with the rod and turn the jam nut clockwise when looking at it from the muzzle. The rifle came with a thread protector to...

What direction does the nut turn when facing the muzzle? I assume clockwise but it would not budge when I tried it. I just want to make sure before I get real serious with it.

I’m not worried about the recoil. Just trying to save my ears.

Has anyone removed the muzzle brake from their Ruger? I’m having trouble getting mine off.
