I think for some it might be great, however I would also find it a pain to carry around in the woods. I wouldnt carry my gun in this to the stand...

Would be good until water or snow got into the case and you put your gun into it. Get it out before it start rusting.

I tend to do the opposite. Most times I carry my gun in a case to protect it from weather, scratches, ect... Most times it's well before or after shooting time. If I'm heading in or out mid day I keep it out of case..
I primarily stand hunt and dont really do any drives tho...
I like the idea, but don't know how much warmth u could actually get out of a 2' wide blanket..
