America's Future?

Not directly hunting related though years to come who knows but I thought I'd share this with the important state of Iowa's residence. This vet hits the nail on the head

Franklin Graham was speaking at the First Baptist Church in Jacksonville , Florida a few weeks back when he said America will not come back.

Time is like a river. You cannot touch the water twice, because the flow that has passed will never pass again.

The American Dream ended (on November 6th, 2012 ) in Ohio.

The second term of Barack Obama will be the final nail in the coffin for the legacy of the white Christian males who discovered, explored, pioneered, settled and developed the greatest Republic in the history of mankind.

A coalition of Blacks, Latinos, Feminists, Government Workers, Union Members, Environmental Extremists, The Media, Hollywood, uninformed young people, the "forever needy," the chronically unemployed,
illegal aliens and other "fellow travelers" have ended Norman Rockwell 's America . The Cocker Spaniel is off the front porch... The Pit Bull is in the back yard. The American Constitution has been replaced with
Saul Alinsky 's "Rules for Radicals" and Chicago shyster, David Axelrod , along with international Socialist George Soros will be pulling the strings on their beige puppet to bring us Act 2 of the New World Order.

Our side ran two candidates who couldn't even win their own home states, and Chris Christie helped Obama over the top with a glowing "post Sandy" tribute that elevated the "Commander-in-Chief" to Mother Teresa status. (Aside: with the way the polls were run, he didn't need any help!) People like me are completely politically irrelevant, and I will never again comment on or concern myself with the aforementioned coalition which has surrendered our culture, our heritage and our traditions without a shot being fired.

You will never again out-vote these people. It will take individual acts of defiance and massive displays of civil disobedience to get back the rights we have allowed them to take away.

It will take Zealots, not moderates & shy not reach-across-the-aisle RINOs to right this ship and restore our beloved country to its former status.

Those who come after us will have to risk their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor to bring back the Republic that this generation has timidly frittered away due to "white guilt" and political correctness.

Hard to say if that will actually happen. The guy moving fast up in the polls has his own helicopter and tells it like it is. Some people don't like that, but I think he may have a chance?

Trump won the polls at the Iowa State Fair.

No offense to anyone who is a Trump backer - but I have severe reservations about the Donald being our commander in chief (not anymore than the current pres. and definitely not anymore than Hillary). However, I am keeping an open mind regarding the rest of the Rep field and trying to learn as much as possible about specifics in the next few months.

I think many people do, but after 8 years of JV leadership...at best...he looks appealing to many.

a president that has no filter and tells it like it is-----maybe that's what we need:)

doesn't matter who is president for the rest of my life- always seems to be haters and they are always louder than the supporters-

I am for Trump- that is all:)

I am beside myself about the direction this country is going. It is out of control. Highest number of illegal immigrants in history. All the cant say this cant say that because it might hurt some ones feelings. Participation trophies ! Someone has to loose and someone has to win ! Society is way to soft. Don't get me started on texting and driving !! :D We need someone who tells it how it is !!

I don't have a problem with Trump, but I have not heard him give a straight answer to the issues. He gives long replies making it seem like he is giving an answer, but by the time he is done has he really given one?

Just listen to some of his one on one interviews. At least we wont have to worry about him being paid off.

Bingo - I think he has brought to light the frustration of the voting population like no other candidate I can remember. However, I still am hesitant to have him be the leader of our country. He could very well end up the reason that Hillary or the socialist win this next one.

anyone that votes for Clinton needs deported and I love Trumps immigration plan!

That was written perfectly. I fear what's done is done in a sense. We won't be able to turn back the clock and it's very scary.

I like Trump in that hopefully he won't be bought out. Don't need the money. He's a straight shooter. The immigration thing is an absolute no brainer. Anyone against his plan is INSANE. Politically I'm sure he's not the best but honestly what could he possibly do to make things worse. We need a serious shakeup and he may just be the one to do it.

Trump has my interest for sure. I really like the thought of a bull headed, don't care what anybody thinks president getting in there. Just so long as his bullheadedness is pushing in the correct direction. Personally I'm behind mr. Carson first. He is an extremely intelligent man. Well thought out, well spoken with fantastic values and morals. Either way, Trump or Carson, neither of them is a career politician which makes them both well received in my book.

Looks like a kid frm Iowa is making some noise! 9% really people WTF

Many of the Candidates are good. Trump has the name recognition,,and the Star and Flair goin for him. Unfortunately,,in this age,,Star quality counts. He talks tough,,whether he leads tough,,who knows? America definitely needs a Tough leader and doer. Throw out the politically Correct crap, and tell it like it is! His Money$$ doesn't hurt either. Also what's needed to WIN, unfortunately..

Yep, Carson has my first nod too. Certain things about Trump scare me but he's honest and he isn't catering to any lobbyists which is refreshing. I've heard the strategy of some republicans is to not answer some of the difficult questions that have hurt them in the past.

I think this poll was intentionally misleading. They polled 600 people and offered three choices Clinton (D), Trump (R), and Nuts. (I). So basically 9% maybe just didn't want to vote for either of the other two. That's my hope, but it probably is a good indicator of the direction of the country since most people under 25 seem to be more interested in celebrity gossip than they are in holding Hillary Clinton accountable for her seemingly limitless corruption.

Not to mention her idolizing Margaret Sanger. I'm 27 and try to keep myself as informed as possible but many my age don't care.

Doesn't matter

All the excitement about Trump and other conservative candidates is great. Unfortunately, none of that matters. Everyone one forgets the electoral college. Democrats start out, before the first ballot is cast with 246 electoral votes. they only need 24 votes and they win. I think if I was a democrat I could get 24 electoral votes and I am a nobody. Doesn't matter who they run, doesn't matter who we run. They win. Very upsetting but the original post was correct, there are simply too many people on the other side for us to win. I hate it but you can't ignore the elephant in the room.

Our only hope, peacefully, is to get the electoral college to stop the winner take all format. Example: California goes 55-45 or close to it almost every election, yet all 55 electoral votes go to the democrat (winner take all), so almost half the state goes unrepresented. Fixing this one issue would at least give us a chance, as of now we don't have one

Very early and things could change but he has political momentum that is almost unprecedented. He's getting all the TV time!

It is possible Trump could win Ohio, Michigan, and Florida....throw in Colorado and NM and its likely a victory. Iowa or even MN might go Trump.
