My hitlist for Bow season

BDAHMS

Be here Now
I am going to pull cards one more time probably a week before season opens- but I have a pretty good idea of deer I will go after and which ones I will absolutely pass. Some of the dates are wrong on my cameras not sure what made them switch to older dates?

First one is Curly- I shot this deer last year- and he hasn't gone far from his normal area. Small area- on camera every day. I reallllllly want to get this deer- hopefully early so he isn't broken up. Come Rut if he is all busted up he will also be getting a pass then

This next guy hasn't gotten rid of his velvet yet, and I am not fully sure which buck is my true #1- curly or this guy- and every picture is about the same.

Next is a buck I passed last year and I think he is mature enough to take this year-

This guy also wont get the pass from me- poor pictures- (cheap camera) but he is always cruising this spot- most pictures are pretty blurry of him

and finally- this 8 pointer makes the list as well- I prob wont really hunt him until late season if I still have a tag left because he pretty much sticks to a small area as well and he would be at the bottom of my hit list. I have other deer larger than this 8 that I am passing this year- but mainly because they have a ton of potential to become something special- this buck has been easy to identify last couple years because he has the notches in his ears that are easy to see from the stand

WHOA! Cool part is... IR cams make deer look smaller/thinner than they really are so he's really pry even bigger yet. Wow, you got a great season ahead, good luck

Great bucks! With that many, it would be hard to choose one to go after. Guess you can go for two with bow and gun. Good luck on getting one of them!

Great deer. Just curious how many acres are you getting these deer on?

My #1&2 buck are in 90 acres (only 5 acres or so of trees- mostly all open ag field with a few strips of trees and one sanctuary of trees that's pretty small

The big 8 is on 200 acres

The others are on a 70 acre property 1/2 timber and 1/2 ag

I have zero hit list bucks at my food plots which is the largest property But the amount of does on camera in my plots- shooters will

Well my fiancé just completed her hunter safety. I'm pumped!! So next step is multiple evenings to the range to get her working with a muzzleloader. One of these studs will hopefully be her first buck.

Sweet lineup right there! With all them options I'm sure you will get a good one on the ground this season.
