Plant ID help

What is this? Growing in SE mi. Along ditches, in standing water, around ponds, etc. Looks like a great option for waterways or super wet areas unless it's super invasive. Thoughts?

It's an invasive. See along train tracks all the time. Some type of pompus grass or something. If u ever drive through ottumwa - that's where I 1st noticed it many years ago. kinda by the deere plant there. I've seen it all over.
