Toad and The Big 9 came home

Tripped down to Reinertson Taxidermy last night to pick up some deer heads. While both capes were extremely rough they both came thru the tanning process just fine. Scars, slit ears, cuts, and bullet holes make these the ugliest mounts I have on the wall, but definitely the most unique. I will try and get them outside into natural light for some closer up pics... but they might ugly you all to death.

If that is what they looked like when they were alive, then that is a great mount. Well, except forfor bullet holes..... But, that is part of how you got him, so still part of the story.

NASTY trio in that first pic!

Agree that how they are when taken is the way they should be.

They look good to me. Earcuts and battlescars are part of the story.

Heck of a year! They sure don't look ugly to me. I would settle for those battle-tested, ugly mounts every year.
