Popular conjecture is an early out this year, say around May 1st.
Another big dead line is a week from tomorrow. The second funnel, bills need to be out of committee in the corresponding body. In other words if a Senate bill made it to the House the bill would need to be out of the House committee it was assigned to to still be alive.
All is not over at that point though, bills can be attached to Ways and Means bills or appropriations bills and sneak through that way. Basically if they can finagle a way for the bill to be about money it has legs until the session ends.
The vigilance must never end. So chug some Pepto (generic is unpalatable), buckle in and ride it to the end.
