I have had this guy on camera for a few years. In 2017 i wanted to give him 2 more years. This is what has happened since then.

Early ML season opens in Kansas on Sept 17. I think I am going to take a really close look at this guy finally. He is a 6x5 with split G-2's on both sides plus another kicker off of each split. I can't wait to see him without velvet.

Sweet! He would have been hard to pass as a 3 1/2 year old. Good luck, hope to see some harvest photos!

Great buck! Better get him early...he looks like the kind that could get busted up pretty quickly once he starts fighting.

We were super dry until October last year. It hasn't stopped raining since. Where I am in NE Kansas we have had two years in the last 15 where we had as much as 40" in a year. The average is around 32" per year. Until October last year we had only had 22" with many ponds and creeks going dry. This year we have had 46"+ and counting. My guess is that the major drought is what caused him to go backward on the total number of points last year. He actually had a bigger frame at 4 1/2 than at 3 1/2 but he dropped to a mainframe 9 point and lost his left split G-2. We don't like to shoot anything until 5 1/2. Happily he has done his part, now we need to see if we can do ours.

Great buck!

Reminds me a lot of this guy I had om cam in 2015.
