I had the same problem a couple weeks ago. I give the nonelectronic portions of the camera a good dose of Raid. The left over Raid seems to keep them out.

Thats about what it cost me. I think dical, salt, and minerals came to $47 this year. It seems the same stuff last year was around $30.

My dad just picked some up by his farm in Wisconsin, $24.25/50lbs. Cheaper than $30 but still up from last year.

Excuse my ignorance, does it flower just once or multiple times? And what is the general time frame? Thanks for your guidance!

dbltree- When does the clover start to flower? If I am cutting the weeds at 6-8" will those cutting do the same thing or does it flower at a different time?

Re: Cereal Grains - Late Febuary dbltree- One portion of the field I will frost seeding with the red clover gave me lots of problems with weeds last year while it was in beans. I think I sprayed it 3, maybe 4 times with round-up last season. Hopefully that will keep the weeds down this year...

I have a question on 5 acres of CIR I planted last year. It was drilled into field that was beans the prior year. After planting the contractor disappeared, basically went AWOL on me. So nothing elase was done, no mowing or spraying. I am not sure how to proceed this year, is it a lost cause???
