I was looking for a youth gun forever for my boy. Finally ended up buying a new youth bantam mossberg with both barrels. Seems like when we did find a used one you could just about buy a new one for a few bucks more
I shoot the expander mz's and let me tell you, if you touch the deer with one of these bullets I hope you have a truck nearby because its going home with you! 250 grains seems to pattern very well in my gun. The only problem with this bullet is it does a lot of damage if you hit any meat...
Finally!! I know i always wonder how they come up with harvest numbers when not everyone complies with the reporting process. IMO i would love to have a check point for deer. JMO.
Mine is one that came to me one day while hunting with my son. He shot his first deer and was so excited!, I was even more excited than he was. Every time i watch the recovery video of that deer, i remember why i hunt, and hopefully my son one day will teach his children the same way. I know...
Saw my best buck movement this morn! Bucks were cruising early but the wind pushed them to there beds. Finally saw my target buck for the year, 70 yds, atleast i know he is in the area.
Was driving home from hunting this morning and thought that we would not be able to do the things we enjoy like hunting if it werent for you guys. Thank You!

Tomorrow is the ninth, it can't be any worse than the eighth. I saw only one small buck today. I keep telling myself that it only takes a couple minutes to change a season around but its getting tough to sit and not see a shooter. What do some of you do to keep your morale up while not seeing deer?
I sat today from 8 to 130 and saw only one year and a half moving, slowest rut in years for me. Odd hours to sit, but tried the middle of the day to catch a big boy cruising. Only thing I caught was a cold. Tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow, ugh! Keep telling myself that.
