    Panoramic Trail camera

Interested to see what kind of reviews this gets. Seems like a lot of moving parts to be reliable for a long time period. Pretty cool concept though. http://www.moultriefeeders.com/productdetail.aspx?id=mcg-12597

    First Big Buck

Late in the afternoon on 12/22 I was fortunate enough to harvest my first big buck on my new hunting land. Movement that day was incredible. I did an all day sit on a rye/clover plot and we had deer moving in and out from 6:30am until 3:30pm when I shot this guy - an old mature deer we...

    Fawns

Anyone else overrun with fawns this year? Must have been a good breeding season last year and the mild winter probably helped. I am just guessing, but on my little 120 acres I think I have at least 10-15 fawns. I have a set of triplets and at least 3 sets of twins.

    3 legged deer

Got this young deer on my camera yesterday. Wonder what caused this - trauma or birth defect??

    Antlers are a rattling already

Stayed down at my cabin this weekend and on Sunday morning the wife, dog, and I decided to take a walk around the property. About 30 minutes into the walk my dog starting acting a little goofy, almost nervous or excited. I called her over to me and she just kept pacing along a fenceline. Then...

    Sugar solution on seedlings

Anyone ever heard of spraying a concentrated sugar solution on seedling buds to improve budding and seedling survival? A friend of mine swears by it..
