This is just my perception from an outsider and may be way off but Ferentz just seems like a guy that has gotten way to comfortable in his job. I know he as had some success in the past. I'm just wondering if he is not that good of head coach but has had some good assistant coaches surrounding...
That's true, I just don't understand I could kill the biggest deer in the world and if I knew it wasn't 100 percent legal it would me absolutely nothing to me.
KY is a one buck state and I didn't care what you shot as long as that was your ONE buck. But the sad reality is a whole lot of those people that shoot young bucks. Will also shot a nice buck later if given the chance and use their wife, girlfriend, mother, or whoever s tag to tag it. I think...
Having lived in KY for for 50 plus years and having rifle season on top of the rut I can say it will never change there. If you bring up changing it you will be stoned to death the gun hunters want it that way and they far outnumber everyone else. With that being said the difference there then...
I fished it last year during the drought when it was way down and there had been no rain. And I was surprised at how murky it still was thought it would have settled out and been a little clearer. As for the catfish I am more of a bass fisherman and from being from down south that has been a...
I was hunting one morning last year and had a guy pull up and he was heading to the same place I was going. But I normally don't run into anyone else mainly cause I hunt only through the week. But I have found what I felt was a good spot and go back and there is a tree stand in same area. But...
Sounds like you got a good handle on it, that's one thing about public land it comes with a whole new set of challenges. But I guess that's what makes taking a decent deer on public land just a touch sweeter. Best of luck to you.
One of the draw backs I have found about public land is when you find that sweet spot you can pretty much be assured your not the only one that has found it.
I have been walking around quite a bit on public land now that the seasons are over and I find it quite disturbing the amount of trash I find. And am not talking right off of the road way even though that seems to be the favorite dumping place for deer carcasses which wouldn't be as bad except...
I had EHD hit my place in KY in 08 I found 11 deer dead all was found along a creek. Usually most will be found dead in the summer but EHD it is not always fatal in all deer so it could be one that survived. Is the coloration on the hoofs also out of character for deer of that area?
Does Iowa sell a combination hunting fishing license? When I lived in KY they sold a combination license was curios if Iowa did or you just had to buy the two separate?
