Is anyone seeing any new seedlings? I've got nothing. Zero. Zilch. This is the time of year where doubts start to creep in. I guess I'll go mow it. That will make me feel better. On a positive note. The 2nd and 3rd year stuff looks amazing.

Thanks Jbohn. Maybe I'll just spot spray the worst areas with Simazine and see what happens this year. It's a PITA for me to get RU stuff. For the record. I mowed the first year switch 3 times. I think I mowed it too short in a few spots. That seems to be where the Panicum exploded.

The quinclorac appears to have worked really well. After 2 or 3 days the foxtail was turning brown and beginning to droop. These pics are of the day that I sprayed and 6 days later. Good idea, but it's too late. Went yesterday and sprayed the crap out of it. Took a quick peek at it this evening. The foxtail actually looks like it's turning already. Time will tell.
