Sat 6 hours this morning. 1 lone doe passed by this morning. Got down at 12:30 and went exploring for some more trees to climb. I thought things were changing for the better Friday. I Guess I was wrong. I did find a couple more trees to climb. But very disappointed today. Wright county

Finally had a little action this morning. Been averaging 5 hours in the stand every day this week. Rattled in a small 4 point and about an hour later an 8 point. But it has been dead all week till this morning. Maybe things are finally picking up in Wright county.

Had 9 does pass by me this morning. Not a single buck around. Seems kind of odd being the 8th of November. I know the bucks are around. Got proof of that on my cameras. Very frustrating!!!! Wright County

Had one walking across the field as I was walking in. Could not tell what it was. Pulled the card on the camera. Still getting plenty of pics at night. Nothing of any real quality worth bragging about but good numbers. Just not seeing them during the day. No rut activity of any kind. Wright county

Hunted Thursday morning 7AM till noon. Had a little buck come by about 7:30 and work a scrape over close to my stand. And then about 9:30 three does walked under me and milled around my tree for a while and then wandered off. Climbed down about noon. So not much in signs of rut activity. Taking...

Yesterday saw 4pointer chasing a doe and four other does by themselves stroll through. This morning saw a different 4pointer freshen up a scrape 20 yards from my tree. And yeah the damn mosquitoes are back....well it sounded like skeeters and was biting me in the face. Had everything else...
