Wondering who uses these for deer and how you do yours? I did 1 in the past that was rubber/plastic and it eventually leaked. I think it was from deer hooves putting cracks in the bottom. I'm thinking about getting a galvanized one. I usually put it in the ground with about 4-5" above ground...

Frost seeded switchgrass into last falls rye and brassica's plot. I was wondering about what to do about weed control. Should I spray gly on the short but green rye? Then when do you spray atrazine? I guess roughly what ground temperature or what temperature does the switchgrass start emerging.

Well to much rain and flooding. With this projected forecast I'm going to have 11-12' in my food plot. Very disappointing.

I had an accident and will not be able to pull my bow back. The Dr said that I need to fill out a document form and then he would sign it. Where can you get this? Also do I just buy a regular bow tag then? This is all new to me. Thanks.

When is the best time to mow to eliminate the rye?

Has anybody tried putting bud caps on conifer trees? Just wondering if this helped. Is this the main part that deer would eat, the main leader and not the limbs?

In the past I've mainly concentrated on fall plots. By doing this I would let the plot go through the summer then mow and kill the weeds for fall planting. This probably isn't the best method, but that's how I've done it. What options are you guys doing for planting through the summer? Thanks.

I want to plant brassicas in last years rye plot and do the rotation. Ive mowed and sprayed etc. Can I just broadcast and culti pack the brassica seed or do I need to till the ground also. thanks.

I planted rye last fall and am going to rotate to brassicas. I usually plant the brassicas around mid July. When should I mow the rye. Should I mow and wait a couple weeks then spray and kill it. thnx.

I was wondering what type of tree(s) does best along a river area? Any body have success with a certain type of tree that would probably get flooded. Hoping to put some in this fall (soon) instead of the spring to get it going. thnx
