    Wes's First Bird

Took a buddy of mines son out for the youth season. After not setting up in the right spot yesterday, saw birds just not close enough, we headed back to the same spot this morning, didn't hear a gobble until about 6:30, wind was blowing about 30mph and I wasn't completely sure which direction...

    How's the gobbling?

I've been out to a few of my better spots the last three mornings and have heard a total of 4 gobbles. I was wondering if anyone else is not hearing the birds as much as normal? I'm hoping it's just been these cold mornings keeping them tight lipped, and not that I don't have many birds around...

Who uses motion with their Strutters?

I made up a pretty basic motion stake for my strutter a couple years ago it worked fine, not the most practical but it worked and I definitely think motion helps. I bought an Avian X lifeline 360 stake the other day seems to be exactly what I wanted to make but wasn't smart enough to do. I...

I just picked up a couple DSD's today. You guys that use them do you always carry them in their individual sacks or just put them in a decoy bag with your other decoys. I know it says in the instructions to always use the bags but if they're durable enough to just toss in the decoy bag with my...

    Buckscore software

I just wanted to let everyone know about a new computer program I just bought. It's called Buckscore. It was developed by Mississippi State University. The program uses algorithms to determine a score of a deer from a picture. It's pretty cheap $10 from there website and it just downloads to...

    Four Best Bucks so far

First buck will be a shooter for sure, the second 8 looks great but I just don't know if he's there quite yet. The 3rd buck looks great but this is the only pic we have so can't really tell that well, and the last one makes up for lack of width with some great brows.
