Great job Halee!!
Nothing beats watching them take the first one. I'd bet my next paycheck Dad would've swam the Gulf of Mexico to get that deer. I know I would've.
Here's to many more seasons together
No comments.....we've had our share of bad calls.
It's not a fun way to lose a game....or win one...for that matter.
Is it safe to apply for my NR lic. next season?
Glad to hear it!!
I lost a doe earlier this season down here in FL. She ran into a knee deep swamp and there was no way to trail her and our search never panned out.
It's a sick feeling to loose one...period!
Thanks guys. This trip will go down in history as my favorite. I placed 3 stands for him that I usually hunt when up there. I knew the deer would be all over him and he might just get a chance at nice one. As a matter a fact at the 1st stand we placed (the one he shot the buck out of) we jumped...
According to their website photos you have alot to look forward to.
According to my observations of hunting private land in SC Iowa (which isn't purposely managed for trophy deer)....you won't be disappointed....I promise.
With any luck maybe some of those pigs will travel west about 20 miles or so to the Macksburg area. Preferably between Nov. 5-16! I didn't realize their location was that close to where we hunt. You guys are getting me ryled up!!
