when can a person pick the seeds off and use them as next years seed? Also, in the spring do you just plow this up or do you mow it off? and do you have a problem with it coming up again next year in the same spot? Do you spray it?

clogged tiller so I did the oats berseem clover this following brassica mix, I went in and tiller up 1 of the 2 plots and the oats got all wrapped up in tiller...so with the second plot I just took bucket on tractor and "rolled" it down...oats went to seed and have dried out...it took me 2...

just got a quote from local seed company...$22 a pound for cave in rock switch grass!!! wasn't it $8 a pound last year?? Is this price out of line? Is there another switch grass close to this that is priced more in the $10 a pound range?

I was informed that I shouldn't plant straight switch grass, because by year 3 it will be too thick and deer wont bed in it...I kindof laughed when I heard "to thick"....is there such a thing??

Sounds good, I will trial 1/4 of it with Tordon. I was just worried if I didn't spray anything on chewed up buckthorn it will come back 10x worse and wont allow switch to grow to fullest. Thanks!!
