I have some trailcam pics of a buck that is very similar to the buck in your profile pic. I live north of davenport. Just curious if it might be the same deer. Let me know if you would liked to see. Chad
If you are looking for an AR, check out Farro's Lead Farm on Facebook. I just bought a gun from him. He knows his stuff and he kills the crap out of yoties!
Any bass fishing reports for Hawthorn after the renovation in 2010? Used to hit it a couple times a year and had some really good outings. Any decent fish to be caught yet or too early?
I'm in the same boat as you. I have an entire oak ridge wiped out, trees down blocking entire valleys and trees fallen over major trails. I'm going to go in and funnel the deer the way I want them to go. I'm going to cut the centers out of some of the tree tops to create bedding areas. I...

My son shot his 2nd buck this year with 60 grains of blackhorn 209 and a 200 grain Shockwave. Last year was at 65 yards and this season was at 75 yards, both double lung shots. It's a deadly combo for kids.
I just received my new Knight Mountaineer yesterday. Now I'm on the hunt for a new scope. It took me a while to decide on the which muzzleloader to get. I'd like to cut to my options for a scope. I know there are several new one's out there. I Was thinking about the Ultimate Slam or Nikon...
After hunting yesterday morning without any luck, I was really itching to get out for an evening hunt with the cooperating weather. I wanted to go bad enought that I accepted the challenge of bringing my 7 year old, Owen and my 5 year old, Mia. I was priming them the whole way to our hunting...
My brother has one. It's a few years old. This year he took the scope off, why, I don't know. He put the scope back on and we went to the range to sight it in. He's using 150 gr of 777 and some Harvester 300 grain bullets. It took 5 shots at 100 yards to sight in. Shots 3,4 and 5 were...
Does anyone have any information on this gun? My dealer says he can get one for me at a very reasonable price. I have found limited information on them. From what I have read, the are along the same lines as the Master Hunters. Any info would be appreciated.

I'm shooing 120 grains of Blackhorn 209 and couldn't find speed loaders to hold that much powder. I went to the camping section of Walmart and bought 3 of the little orange containers that hold matches. They are sealed with an o-ring to keep the moisture out. They work perfect.
I'm shooting the Wiseguy this year. It is the most crisp release I have ever shot. The first release that I have been able to get a true surprise release with. Kinda freaks me out sometimes.
I have a good friend that bought one last year. He spared no expense. He has $4,000 in his including the scope. It's the real deal, an amazing gun! I'd love to own one but not to realistic for me.
