I was looking at some plots today and noticed I've lost some oaks. .More than one is to many and I'm seeing clumps of them dead together. Any ideas why? They were good acorn producers unfortunately.

Had this guy come in during shotgun season, could not pass him up. Comparing jaw bones with other known age deer, he appears to be over 5 possibly six. Big old Jelly neck! Watch the video here. Always a treat to take out an old boy. Now its time for late season.

Anybody have a good resource for laws regarding high fences? Neighboring property has been a high fence for some time. The property changed hands a couple years back and the new owner opened some holes in the fence. Now a couple years later he has closed the holes off. Seems unethical to me.
