    Camo Recommendations?

Between the fleece and the warp knit which is less apt to catch burrs and stick-ems?

Pack frame for hauling treestands ?

Is this the same pack displayed at a booth at the Classic this spring. If it is, it can also be used as a chair? Anyone actually used it?

    Posting Property

OK, so maybe signs are worth it after all. Anybody have a link to a supplier/printer where a guy could have some printed up? Also, what is an appropriate posting distance? I suppose one should order twice as many as may be needed as many will be stolen or shot up.

    Posting Property

Thanks for the replies, sounds like signs may be a waste. A property owner on ajoining ground put up signs that the ground was leased and a reward would be paid for turning in trespassers. Does offering money change anything? Every fall we have problems with people shooting in from the road...

    Posting Property

I am trying to talk a landowner into letting me post his property this fall. It would be at my expense and am looking for a little guidance on what has worked well for those of you fortunate enough to own your own land. I'd go so far as to have signs printed specifically for the property if it...

    Camera Dead?

This is timely. I just had the same thing happen with a Sony S600. What exactly does one do to fix it?

    Tree Suit/Tree Saddle?

I'm going to give it a try. There is another post on here about setting stands in cedar trees. I have one trimmed out on top but it is tough getting up in it packing a stand and bow. I'll admit that I need to do some more work on the tree but I don't want to make it easy for others to sit since...

    Gunsmith

Has anyone had any experience with Gordy Gritters (Gordy's Gun Shop) in Pella, Iowa? I am looking at having some work done on a 204 and his name has come up a couple of times.

    badlands monster?

Love the monster, especially for early season. You can buy a brand spankin new last years model for a lot less than I paid for mine. I saw one the other day for $70. What doesn't fit in the pack you can always tie on.

    Lone Wolf DVD is done!!!

Bought the DVD and have been watching it the past couple of days. Enjoyed the hunts and the tips. Andrae does things his own way and you can't argue with his success. I take it that was you with that big wide rack in one of the buck profiles towards the end. Maybe the "addition" thing was over...

    2 way radios

Yup, the Garmins are nice, especially if your hunting with youth or someone that roams more then you'd prefer. The only problem is the cost and risk of loss in the woods. That is what caught my eye with the Motorola's is the much lower cost. I could lend it to a hunting partner and wouldn't feel...

    2 way radios

Motorola has a new unit, the Talkabout T9550 which is to have a range of 25 miles. My Garmin Rhino 130's serve us well but no where close to that kind of range.

    Dead Buck

Not sure what Shredder meant but it would be a discussion piece with a euro'd skull and the horns hanging from it by a strip of aged leather. I've never seen it done but would give it a try as you don't really have anything to lose. I suppose some of you shed guys find both sheds and anticipate...

    Cedar Chest/Closet

I was going through our camo today which is spread out between numerous tubs marked - snow camo, turkey, early season, late season, rain gear, boots, gloves/masks etc.. My wife isn't real appreciative of the mess with the tubs out all fall and clothes hanging off the deck. It is going to be...

    Protect Cougars.....WHY?

I think they are a protected species here in Nebraska unless you are protecting yourself. On another note, a lion cub was recently found dead by Alliance that would likely have been bred and born in state. The presumption is that most have wondered in or through the state.

Tree Farmer to go on Trial next week:

Why hasn't this guy just put a fence up? I see many vineyards, tree farms and other landscaping type places with fences that appear to work pretty well.

    Energy Demand

I was talking to someone last week that said something about using switchgrass much like corn for energy. I think his son has some ground in a test program for either University of Nebraska or Kansas State University. If this was to take hold would it help or hurt the hunting of game birds and...
