    Looking for a new Broadhead...

I've been shooting Muzzy MX3's at everything. Deer, turkeys, elk and had good success. Hate to say it but bottom line is if you make a good shot the broadhead really means very little. With a good shot never had a problem successfully harvesting any of these animals.

    Need new cams

Browning strike force elite HD pro for $160 is the best camera I have. I had/have cuddeback, reconyx, Bushnell, Moultrie, spypoint, you pretty much name it and these are the best. 6 AA lithium's last pretty close to an entire season and they take great pictures.

    Acorns to Oaks!

I've got a bunch of chestnuts and acorns in the fridge waiting to get started. Been a couple years since I've started any seedlings from seed and thought it may be beneficial to get a new grow light. Years past I've started them in the basement mid February under a sub par light. Thought it...

    Liquid Fertilizer for Brassica

Has anyone used liquid Fertilizer on brassica? Seems to be fairly inexpensive compared to normal fertilizer and wouldn't have to get rained on like urea. Also application with the sprayer seems much easier to deal with as well. I'd be interested to hear what product and how much was applied if...

    Brassicas

Planted 5 acres of brassicas on July 26th and have gotten no rainfall since. It looks like one of the plots has germinated about 50% and the other about 10%. I'm guessing the seed started where ever the soil had enough moisture the day I planted. Will the seed still germinate if we get some rain...

    Timber Stand Improvment

dbltree, I was extremely suprised when I read that the black oak acorn is poisonous to wildlife. I have a few areas covered with black oaks that I have been promoting the past few years. I always wondered why there seemed to be more acorns in these areas than other areas with white/red oaks...

    Cut before Spray?

I am preparing to spray a few clover, alfalfa, and chicory plots this weekend with Arrest. Just curious if it would be necessary to mow the plots prior to spraying. For some reason I remember reading something about better results from doing this???
