    Help for dbltree...

Wow, I have been away for quite sometime and just saw this thread. Paul, you are passionate if nothing for habitat it seems. When I come to this site it is usually looking into the DT Corner for tips on trees, food plots or herbicides. Reading his threads makes you want to be a better person...

    Food plots are looking good

Ya, those are great...had some health issues that kept me from getting mine in earlier,(no rain since early July anyway) planted last night and today we are getting rain, so I am hoping they are in early enough. The sorghum is likely way to late to head-out but the clover, rape, turnip, etc mix...

    Ruger SR

Another plus for the SR1911, pretty decent right out of the box, shoots my lead cast bullets just fine.

    AR surprise

Very nice set-up, one like that and and another (maybe just an upper) in 204 are on my short list to add to the arsenal. If you load your own, I would like to hear (or see) how it shoots a 55 grain Vmax under a load of Benchmark or H322. Should make a wicked varmint rig.

    box blind

I used Fog X, and my barber told me to wipe them down with shaving cream, the Fog X didn't work too well, haven't used the shavin cream trick yet so I can't comment on it. I keep the window behind the heater open and crack the others and it helps. I only have problems on my single pane windows...

QAD Ultra Rest---anyone here with an opinion??

Thanks for the comments. I upgraded my Vtec to a CRX32 and a few of the reviews on the Ultra Rest I found, guys were having clearance problems on faster bows which showed up when shooting past 30 yards. Not sure if "faster" describes the CRX but this weekend I will get it set-up and see what...

    muzzleloader wanted

Check at Walmart, the TC Omeaga is clearanced at $199 right now, sell the 870 locally, might get $200 for it. Great ML for the price, it will shoot as good as anything you can buy. Goodluck

    Wanted to buy newer muzzy

You might check your Walmarts they have the base Thomson Center Omega Z5 clearanced at $199.99, black with black syn stock, maybe not some of the fancy options, but it will shoot as well as one costing 3 times the price. You can try craigs list to move what you wanted to trade maybe.

    Blackhorn 209 vs. Triple 7

I am new to muzzleloading, started with triple 7 and will never use it again after trying BH. Yes, the biggest and only thing that I don't like is cleaning the breach plug, it takes a little effort, but I can still clean the weapon to look like new in less time than I could with triple 7...

    Brock Lesnar

Brock is a beast on the ground, you don't want him on top of you. If it is a stand-up slug fest, the guy has the punchers chance, any of those big SOBs can KO the other, just a matter of who connects first. I will be shocked if Brock ever gets into a stand-up slug fest in the UFC, he will...

    Brock Lesnar

Looks like Brock will get to fight to fight someone his own size next week....well someone that actually looks his size.

Any options or experience with Hoyt CRX32?

Thinking about upgrading my v-tec, shot a crx35 and was impressed. I only shoot from a treestand and practice in the backyard, I think the shorter 32 would be better. Are the shorter models the ticket? Are they as easy to shoot? Anyone shooting a CRX here and what do you think of it?

    I've been Bit

Nice...204 or 223? A bubby of mine had a rig like that which would shoot the steel cased "cheap" Wolf ammo into nickel sized groups at 100, my brother tried a couple rounds of that through his Savage 12 praire dawger and had trouble keeping them on the target! Lots of fun ahead!
