Hey guys I'm looking to make my first attempt at planting switch and I have a quick question. I applied roundup this fall on one of the last days that hit 50 degrees. I didn't get a good kill on what is existing hay field. My plan was to frost seed this winter and then spray gly and simazine...
Great post!
I had similar results with the tracer nocks....One worked on a doe I shot in October, and one didn't on a buck I killed in November.
I purchased my first safety harness this year and went with the muddy. I don't have any prior experience with harnesses but I'm super happy with the...
You're expression in that pic pretty much sums it up, bummer Thomas. Tomorrow is a new day though,,,,just don't pull off the side of the road again there tomorrow.
Sounds like a beech to me. The spiny fruits are known as cupules and carry two nuts in each fruit. If there was white sand and waves crashing then it's definitely a beach:grin:
That's awesome to see those hybrids producing already Dbl.

If I purchased land in the hopes that Iowa would change their laws for me, I'd be a little salty too. I guess I don't understand why they sell their doe tags for such an outrageous price, but beyond that the non-resident LO has nothing to cry about. There are alot of states out there that...
That's incredible. Whether you manage to kill him or not you have one hell of a story in pics and sheds from that old dude. Thanks for sharing him with us.
some good points already brought up. Could be an early season hotspot with the pond located in the timber. I'd set up on a ditch funnel to catch a buck moving from one of the high points towards the water. If you get some warm weather with a southwesterly wind....dynamite setup to catch him...
Great deer. Might not score a ton but he certainly has a beautiful rack. Love how high it sits off his head. It's really something to see how he's progressed in horn growth.
