Real estate commission lawsuit - changes coming!!?!?!

Sure looks like changes coming. I just heard about this and just read the update. This could reduce commissions a lot. I need to talk some realtors on what will come of this. Are the days of 5-6% over? This sure appears to be the case! Interesting. I’m just digging into this. Any...

    Converting old pasture to natives

Add more seed! ;). Not what u asked but …. If the native seed bank isn’t there- the brome & fescue seed always will be. Side note: can look at csp, eqip funds for seeding it down to beans…. Then pollinator for 2 or 3 years. They pay u $700 or so. & all those years count as crop years so...

The other side of the argument

People complaining about deer….. I think 90% of it is: humans love to complain & ignore solutions!! Few examples… 1) my vehicles have steel bumpers on them. Cheap. I’m in deer country. If I pay close attention- I avoid deer. If I don’t- the steel bumper makes hitting a deer a non issue...

    20+ pics like this - Shed season…..

Scraggly fur & bad pic. I’ve got ton of side views and he looks fine. Actually looks good. Bad pic. If he was in tougher shape that reflected that pic- he woulda been shed by now. They got loads of food & mild weather so time to bulk up!!!

    WTB: Tracked Skid Loader

Oh gosh- I’ve fought def on countless machines. The ONLY machine I’ve never had DEF issues on is Cat tractor. Literally every other machine - nightmare. Skid steers, tractors, vehicles, u name it - they all give me grief. Bobcat for example was a Frigin nightmare on their emissions junk! One...

    20+ pics like this - Shed season…..

These are 2 I just got in last Hour. I bet I have 20+ bucks with both sides. Most are younger. These 2 are 4 & 5 year olds though. Geesh!!!! Very typical & more typical when it’s warm weather AND they have plenty of food. So- I’m glad about that. Why we find so many year old sheds ;)

    WTB: Tracked Skid Loader

Go 74hp if it’s not a huge difference- then u get away from DEF!!!!! I have to think equipment sales are slowing & getting back to “reality”. Wonder if that’s the case?

    MINERAL TO PUT OUT NOW…

Probably be fine. Mix like 5 lbs of molasses to it and that would insure they will pound it. If it’s 8% or more phosphorus- ur set.

    FBN Poloma Beans?

Untreated pioneer variety I use is fantastic. I’ll have to dig up the #. U can see beans where some are brown, some are gray, etc etc. It’s wild how the preference for taste & the look of the bean can change so much by variety. I did strips to test & for sure varieties far more desired than...

    Anybody Scout in the Heat?

I love this time of year. I had & still do have years where im scrambling in summer heat on stands & “the to do list”. I was inside for 3 days this weekend. This is the longest streak of not being on farms or outdoors in months. Considering I’m on a farm everyday, I guess I consider...

    MINERAL TO PUT OUT NOW…

Different parts of my farm get hit way harder than others. If new to it at all…. Add very little garlic & more salt/molasses to start. They get used to it & then u can increase rates of garlic a bit or whatever - they will pound it. Get em used to it!! Even adding a bit of cracked corn if...
