Agree with everyone saying the fines should be higher. Christmas did come early for me and my partner though, found two deer stands that are not ours out on our land. Merry Christmas to me!! I know have two more stands than I did a week ago. Thank you trespassers!!

This season I bought a two person stand and the lady friend has joined me a couple times and let me tell ya, it's so much more fun hunting with a partner. Just wondering if anyone else has one and what they think. Also, can't complain about all the room when you hunt in it alone.

That was my thinking. It only makes sense that if you do everything to avoid any sign of you then your fine. Yesterday was perfect, besides me taking a leak from my stand down into the creek behind me. Haha

Sat for 8.5 hours today. Saw the same buck twice. Then around 4:00 had a doe come in and hang around till 4:45. Said screw it and threw out a grunt with my tube. And wouldn't ya know a decent buck came in. I drew back but it was too dark for me to get a decent look/shot on him.

Bucks are back out. Sat till 11 this morning watched bucks flying around chasing does and crashing in to my grunts and horns. Excited for this weekend and the weather.

Agree with BDhaMS. One day I was seeing mature bucks at 10:00 in the am chasing and snorting and now I get lucky if I see a black blob slowly pass by that could either be a cow or deer. Hell, even the squirrels aren't running around to even fool me. I'm planning on sitting all day Saturday...

If anything IMO it's this wind that has em slowed down. Sat all this morning only saw one buck.

Out off all the money I spent on gear to keep me warm. The $15 for my hand muff was the best investment. Can't beat the combo of that and some hand warmers.

Had a great buck locked on a doe yesterday. Couldn't get him off her. Then last night we had two does in front of us for 2.5 hours. Not one sign of a buck. Couldn't believe it.

Sounds like a successful hunt to a certain point for me. Had great encounters, saw a ton. Even let some fly. But hey, that's hunting.
