    Food plots in CRP.

Is the 10% I've heard talked about a blanket rule or does each contract have a different number? Does food plotting need to be mentioned in the contract?

FOREST RESERVE - why repealing the law is devastating!

Be careful now Rob. They are very extreme when it comes to conservation. This is a very small sliver within the democrat conservation piece of pie that just so happens to be what we are in agreement on. Sometimes you have to take the bad with the good. Emails sent!

    Land prices / insane!!!

I agree 100% that the larger tracts are getting sliced and diced and will continue to do so. My thought is that the larger tracts that stay whole could become more valuable because there will be fewer of them as time goes on. Yes, you have less buyers for the amount of larger tracts now but you...

    Land prices / insane!!!

You could very well be correct. My thought is years down the road and the trend continues. If I'm a seller, and there is a way to split a larger tract that I'm selling and it will bring a substantial amount more, why not? If you have a true survivor larger REC tract 20 years from now, we'll say...

    Land prices / insane!!!

I get this at the present time. I was more curious...if the larger REC tracts continue to get cut up to satisfy certain buyers and to bring more money per acre to the owner of the "doner" larger piece, if that would create a situation where larger more rare pieces would then become more valuable...

    Land prices / insane!!!

Not jumping on you Windlooker but your opinion is somewhat clouded. You just bought ground so you would like to take the same ride as what took place the last 5 or 10 years. I'm not seeing it. I do have one thing in common with you, I'm signing a purchase agreement next week tripling my present...

    Land prices / insane!!!

We'll take that 600 acres that use to throw off several nice bucks a year and split it 10 ways...10x the hunters=less quality bucks over time. Those 40s and 80s should be less valuable just by the quality of the hunt and your larger farms will become fewer and far between bringing the value up...

    Land prices / insane!!!

I'm thinking the real risks are the ones we choose not to see or look at. People today are so orgasmic over land, they don't take into account all the what ifs.
