2008-09 running doe count

after 3 days of being skunked, I finally scored this big big Doe tonight. -3F. She was so big I had to double-check the head to make sure it wasn't a shed buck. Definetly a doe.

Are we counting in-town deer management hunts? If so there will be a couple more dead does to add to this list as the season for managment hunts doesn't end til the 25th.

As im sure you guys will notice, I shot this one in the hip. I'm not proud about the shot, not proud at all. The only thing that makes me feel better, is I wispered in the does ear "run up to my truck" and by golly thats exactly what she did. Saved me alot of dragging up hill.

Headed to Alamakee county on Friday for the late antlerless shotgun season. Got a buddy who'd like one more for the freezer...
 
309+9=318 Shot 9 this year had to eat 2 tags. Dam snow had me in a snow plow 12 hours a day for the late season.
 
I killed 10 slick heads on the year.

323+10= 333

Still got one more tag to fill in Southern Iowa for late late late doe season.
 
Add 2 more here for the 2010 Urban hunt in Council Bluffs. 10 more have been checked in as of 4 pm today. For a total of 12 in Co. Bluffs.
