3D Shoot at Hickory Ridge - Rangefinders allowed

Our first 3D shoot of the year will be held this weekend, June 16-17 at Hickory Ridge (located on Highway 14 between Pella and Knoxville - just south of the Mile Long Bridge)

We have decided to allow rangefinders for all classes - makes a great opportunity to bring along someone new or shoot your first 3D! No more worrying about guessing the yardage wrong and missing the target or losing an arrow.

You may shoot it as a regular 3D shoot either day, as the First Leg of the Southern Iowa IBA Shootout on both days or as the ISAA Marked Yardage 3D on Sunday only. Shoot both days if you want to enter multiple events.

Food and cold drinks available, water jugs placed out on the course, tons of shade, benches along trails to rest, and usually a nice cool breeze blowing off the lake makes this a great place to shoot.
 
Registration should open by 7 or earlier both Saturday and Sunday - come early and beat the heat.
 
Set up the course tonite and it is really quite pleasant in the timber - we have lots of big timber shade trees and a nice breeze blowing in off the lake - as a bonus I never saw a single mosquito.

Thanks so muck to the almost 150 shooters we had this weekend.
Although the thermometer showed wicked 93+ temps the cool breeze off the lake and lack of bugs made it a very nice shoot.
