After battling birds the first 3 seasons I was more than ready to pick up my shotgun and head out 4th season. The first morning out with the gun my early morning spot was a bust. So me and my dad went to plan b. Running and gunning while trying to fan. After 2 failed attempts at a stalk we where planning our next move when I heard 2 birds gobbled across the road on a different farm. After a few calls we started the long walk in. We found a tom but he wanted nothing to do with our fan and ignored us. It was a hot day so just laid on a terrace cooling off and relaxing with the fan stuck on top infront of us. Finally we where going to leave so I took a look over the terrace and 2 toms where charging at a sprint at only 25 yards. We scrambled to grab our guns and I was able kill this guy.
