Very interesting! Would be fun to know exactly what angle the shot was from and exactly what itwent through to get there. Nice buck too! Congrats!

I really looked at that and made a mental note, when I first figured out what it was. It looks like a very level shot angle, maybe from the ground or a ground blind, with a very very slight quartering away shot.

Found a broadhead in the side of a doe's head a few years back. Really cold and had a block of ice growing from the puss/wound area.
