Age this Deer

Taking a little inventory on one of the farms i hunt, Lotta doe s, and smaller bucks. But then I got a picture of this buck, rack is a little goofy. He s got a broken G3. Judging from rack 2.5. But body tells another story. I'm not really sure at all. I need opinions. All help will be appreciated. Old Warrior Buck?? Or young deer?

Yup, I agree with older. Appears to be pretty "blocky" through the body.

was that pic taken during a real cold spell? If so then I vote younger as the deer always puff up hair in those times and look much bigger than they are. That angle is tough to give a fair guess in my opinion. I would error on side of caution if age is what your after.

I would agree that he is older than you think. Might just be bad genetics on the rack. Based on that giant block head, thick neck and chest, and what appears to be a belly but hard to tell, I'd say he's fully mature.
