Ain't no getting up...

From HeviShot.

This bird came in silently, behind me, at 5:58 this morning about 30 seconds after he pitched down. I had to re maneuver myself from the tree side and up onto a knee to lean around a small bush and pull the trigger. He stood there watching me and putting, pretty sure he needed to be killed for the betterment of the gene pool.

I have some other harvest photos that I'll eventually upload, but this one speaks volumes. Typical 2 year old, 10 inch beard and 1 inch spurs, about 21 pounds.

Congrats Muddy! The smell of gun powder in the morning goes along with the head stomp :way:

Either you have midget feet or you're playing twister taking that picture. Really throwing me for a loop. Congrats sally.

Nice job Muddy.

I still enjoy shooting one with a gun from time to time.

Sometimes we have to even up the odds a little.
