This bird came in silently, behind me, at 5:58 this morning about 30 seconds after he pitched down. I had to re maneuver myself from the tree side and up onto a knee to lean around a small bush and pull the trigger. He stood there watching me and putting, pretty sure he needed to be killed for the betterment of the gene pool.
I have some other harvest photos that I'll eventually upload, but this one speaks volumes. Typical 2 year old, 10 inch beard and 1 inch spurs, about 21 pounds.
