This one wasn’t ever close to getting out of hand. Main thing is to have help- I had 4 Of us there today. And I mowed the perimeter of the plot 3 passes to make a nice really short buffer area. I also took my back pack sprayer and really soaked down the path. Them light it down wind side first to burn a back burn area that will slowly spread into the wind (make sure it’s a CALM breeze day). After you have a good back and side burn buffer you can loop the rest in and it will burn with the wind to that back Burn area. Had zero issues.

I'm digging the second card pull more!! Nice bucks. That funky rack from the first pull will be a really neat looking deer too. Best of luck

I went down to the property I show my big ten last year that shed his antlers right after I shot him and hung cameras for the first time this year. Will get back down there before the end of this month to check them when we plant our food plots. But I did a first for trail cameras this weekend (for me personally- I know its been done before by others) but I went to a secluded pond back in the middle of a large cedar section- and there is a pretty heavy deer path that leads right to the waters edge. I waded out in the water- cleared away vegetation- drove a fence post in the ground and zip tied a camera to the post in hopes of getting some unique pictures of wild life getting a drink. We will see if it turns out

Are those the new 4k stealth cams? I traded in 3 old stealth cams for 3 the the new 4k models and really like the quality pics. They take so long to download on my old laptop though. You should get some interesting pics

The new cameras I just hung are the new 4K's and a few of the above photos came from a 4K. others are from G series or lower models. But the DS4K's hands down take the best pics of any cameras I have owned. Video mode is solid as well.

Wow - that’s passion & creativity!!! I have a feeling u gonna have some great opportunities this year!

Hey- one thing I noticed.... NO TICKS on the deer in ur pics. Hmmmm. Put out a high quality mineral or no? Just caught my attention.

I set out Antler King mineral early on and a trophy rock in a few spots. Not sure if any correlation to ticks or not. I know I have a few pics of does covered in ticks at a different property- but Ill keep tabs on that now.
