Nothing today but I did get a couple more trail cam pics of it. I called it in last week and it came behind me at ten yards. We locked eyes for 30 seconds, both deciding what we should do next, then it took off. I'm headed back for one last try tomorrow morning.
Seems like I read a lot of stories about guys getting "back doored" by bobcats. Better luck tomorrow. I also wonder if he saw you once and you'll never see him again.
I'm going to start with a woodpecker or cottontail. Called it in with a fawn in distress last week. I'm thinking it may never come to that again. I don't know. Anyways, I'm going in now!
