Man them babies look GOOD! Good work man. Messing with a lathe takes alot of time but its pretty fun isnt it.

it is fun! but i hate!!!!!!!!!! sharpening the knives.....

and it shows as i blew that one up tonight.....

Never had to sharpen any knives so i guess that could be a pain. I did it in high school. Made a walnut coffee table and used the Lathe for the legs. Turned out cool. But you definitly put in alot more detail with the lathe then i did. Do you ever do anything else with the lathe other than calls.

thats for whackin northerns if i plan on keeping them.....

So, which do you like better???

These two calls are very different, and i realize one color may appeal more to different individuals, or the color of the interior sound board may differ.

What im wondering about is the placement of the IW logo, this is important as i finish the other two calls i currently have in process.....

so, of the two logo placements, which do you like better.

The IW Logo on the sound board, like this one???

So set aside the wood type, wood color, and sound board color....

I personally like the one with the IW Logo on the underside of the top piece of glass.

The one with the white (top photo) looks better IMO. That little bit of color (or lack thereof) makes it "pop".

Finish it up and have it ready for me next Friday.
