Passed up a 150 this eve, only my second evening of hunting in Missouri and first time on a farm we just bought in July, I'm hoping I didn't make a mistake, was great seeing him though no matter what

Passed on a 150?! U must have some impressive bucks on ur land.

Normally I would not have passed, but I do have at least one bigger on camera that should go mid 160s, I've kinda had my eye on him, and I just didn't want to be tagged out this early when I know there is something bigger area, in Missouri it doesn't matter if your a landowner you can only take one buck before firearms season

Good for you being able to pass a 150 I see no problem with that I have passed 150s and larger deer. I shot a doe last yr to fill my tag after passing a broken 180. I would not have been happy shooting a broken deer. Shoot what makes you happy that is what makes a good season great. For me knowing I have let big deer get bigger is enough to make it a successful season. Good luck to you.

Well, that is what makes trail cameras so great! I have no problem passing deer, it did bite me last year when the two deer I let walk two years ago were both shot last year, but unfortunately not by me!

I haven't shot a buck in 3 years, but that is because I passed bucks every year, but last year (never had a shot opportunity). They were all fun successful season yes, last season hurt some, but I still had fun. I try to go into every season with high expectations (target bucks), but that doesn't define the season. No one should stress over a deer! Getting out is great, shooting some does is great, but getting a big buck is just a plus.
