First shooting light????

I have been traveling a lot and just now got back home. I plan to start hunting Monday morning for the next 2 weeks. What time is it that you can see to shoot. I am ususally on stand 45 minutes before I can shoot - lets things settle down. Thanks!

1/2 hour before sunrise & 1/2 hour after sunset. That is for bow, the change rifle season to match this year as it use to be sunrise to sunset.

In central Iowa it is light enough for me to see my pins at about 6:15am.

YOU CAN LEGALLY SHOOT AT 6:08 A.M.....

Your shooting hours depend on what part of the state that you hunt. You can find a table that gives the amount of time you need to add the further west you go. The table is in this years hunting regulations. For example someone hunting along the Mississippi can shoot 20 minutes before someone hunting on the Missouri. Hope this helps.
