Ended up putting a few gates up on our entrances and added a few more signs. RIDICULOUS people can't respect private property... these are the first issues I've had in a while.

I don't have any cams out, I've been extremely lazy.

Amazing to me that people do that kind of thing. Then again, the fines/penalties for trespassing and/or poaching in Iowa are silly. No real sting to someone caught by the law. I felt kind of crummy when I got my own place last fall putting up signs and locking the gate. Felt like I was "that guy", but glad I did. Haven't seen one boot track yet. I'm sure it will happen eventually though.

I feel your pain, main reason why I dont head to SW IA anymore... I have submitted trail cam photos for trespassers before and got told "They need to know they are trespassing, They need to know you are using surveillance, and they have to be told to stay out verbally once"- BEFORE the officer would do anything- So I gave up...

Hah, that is such a backwards way of thinking. Should be as simple as..."Do you own the land or have permission to be there". It's a YES or a NO

Got to agree with you...Frustrating to say the least....That was 4 years ago when I finally gave up trying (I live 4 1/2 hours from my family farms in SW Iowa) and it got really frustrating to drive down, only to find non stop trespassing
