Hunt'n In The Rain

I've had good luck hunting gobblers in the rain. Of coarse it seems quieter without all the farm equipment and people out in the woods but it just seems like I see big Toms out in the open during rain storms. Has anyone else had that experience?

I stayed home one morning during second season because of a thunderstorm, but a guy from work did go out and said he had two toms strutting in front of him in the pouring rain. Last Friday a friend of mine shot a 25 lb gobbler with an 11 inch beard and 1 1/4 inch spurs at 7:00 am in the rain.
