While texting last week, he asked me if I'd been fishing....
Made me think about it. Once Memorial Day rolled around and I assumed that the catfish spawn had occurred, I lost interest.
I trout fished while on vacation in MT the last week of June, fished for an hour when I got back home from that trip. That was the only fishing I've done, with the cool temps tonight, decided to give it a try.
One pole was dip bait, never had a bite.
All fish caught tossing lures/jigs.
Caught half a dozen smaller LM Bass, some bluegills and ended with a nice cat. With the cooler weather in the forecast, probably spend more evenings fishing until bow opener.
The bluegills are of interest to me since the ones I caught tonight are not hybrids. I stocked them in hopes that they will be able to reproduce enough to feed the LM Bass and Cats.
