After numerous encounters with "hung up" strutters, last night I finally had one commit! Made a good shot and watched em run off with my arrow. I text my brother and decided to wait an hour, in the mean time I had one hammering behind me so I was very entertained... Was trying to get him to commit but he wouldn't cross the revine between. Hit him at 6:30 and 7:30 could not come soon enough! At 7:30 I got out of the blind and noticed a ton of blood. I found the arrow 30 yards from the blind with a good 10 inches of blood on it. I trailed another 30 yards and found him piled up!! If anyone would be kind enough to PM me there email I'd be more than happy to share pics. Weighed 23.77 pounds, just shy of one inch hooks and had a 10 inch beard! Thanks to all who share there stories and time to dust off the shotgun!
