Lake Michigan fishing near Niles???????

Last part of August will find me at a wedding in Niles, Michigan upside of this is the wife says I can go fishing on lake Michigan if I can arrange it. Does anyone know of a guide or charter boat near Niles???

I live in south bend which is right across the border from niles. You are an hour away from the Lake Michigan in Niles.

Hoosier, I know I was going to be close, but do you know of any charters or guides or the names of any towns I should look at??

Don't know anyone on that side of the lake but if you search "Benton Harbor fishing charters" it will give you a starting point.

New buffalo, st joe are both in Michigan.

Benton Harbor in St Joe has lots of charters, some even for perch, looks like we will find something that will work. Thanks alot.

Call the local bait shops. They'll know the most respectable and trustworthy local guide services.

That being said, if anyone is looking for charters on the Wisconsin side, I've got a great source out of Sturgeon Bay, Algoma, or Kewaunee... but the best fishing is out of Sturgeon Bay. And it's on hard now.
