Late Season Food Plot Combo

I currently have a 1 acre plot clover and blended with rye. Plot is really established well. (Plot doesn't get used until later in the winter) Deer are currently digging like crazy and using it a lot. I have another .5 acre area I can use 100 yards away. That I'd like to do something with.
The .5 acre area is partially shaded. What would work well in combo with my other plot in this area.
(It's lighter/sandier soil)

I would think that they would be hitting the clover all year once you have it established. Sandy spoil all depends on moisture. But wheat , rye, alfalfa will do ok on sandy soils if you can manage it.
