Late season food.....rotten standing beans?

i hunt river bottom ground that was flooded in early fall. This ruined the beans for harvest and there are 100s of acres of mostly black, standing beans. Could this still be used as a food source or will the deer avoid these?

I don't have much experience with this but I have a hard time believing they'd be very good to eat...the black is mold

From what I've seen when beans get flooded and muddy/moldy the deer don't care for them much.

We had some beans like that this year that we mowed off with a rotary mower and the deer are eating them. I don't know if they would have if we left them standing but they are eating them now.
