Little DIY project

Well this week the fiancé and I upgraded our living situation by moving to a nicer apartment. In the midst of moving I decided I didn’t want to lose out on the deposit of the new place when we move out so no screw holes in the wall for me. But I wasn’t going to leave the deer mounts at my parents so with the little bit of skills I have with a hammer, nails, skill saw, and sawzall I made a pedestal. I still need to add barn boards and grass to finish the base but I thought it turned out pretty well for spending $0 on it and using all recycled materials including nails.

Looks great! If you get the grass done around the base you could also tuck a couple of those sheds in there for effect as well. Nice work!
