muddy hunter sticks or climbing sticks?

Trying to decide between the two. Seems like the hunter sticks cost more than the shorter climbing sticks but you only get three versus four. If spaced the same....say 20 inches apart, you can actually climb a few inches higher with the four shorter ones. Not to mention about $40 cheaper. What are your experiences with either? Leaning towards the four shorter ones unless I'm missing something.

Ive only used the shorter ones and have two sets. From what I hear it sounds like the shorter ones are a little better for climbing crooked trees.. I dont know what the weight difference is btween them beut they pack alright and are easy to use. Theyve had some recalls on some of their sticks so youll have to check into that as well

Don't have either but I'd definitely go with the climbing sticks. More versatility with the shorter sticks and I like the rope attachment system on them.
